EXPERIENCE

Illustration Intern at First Republic Bank, Human Resources Department, San Francisco, CA, Summer 2016.

Worked with Margaret Mak and a team of professionals and freelance artists on extensive projects that involved the use of Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe After Effects to create illustrations that my team and I would then use for interactive animated videos created in Adobe After Effects. The finished products were used for educational purposes of employees and advertisement of future products.

Concept art club at RISD, Fall 2014 - 2015.

Once a week meeting where students learn how to visualise their illustrative concepts such as character/creature designs and their environments.

Illustration Intern at First Republic Bank, Art Department, San Francisco, CA, Summer 2015.

Illustrated storyboards for an online banner campaign for presentation to business banking team. Converted rough hand sketches with brief written descriptions to visual frames that were used as the templates for First Republic marketing materials.  Based on provided photographs of several of the bank’s business clients, illustrated them in the specified contexts, as storyboarded in multiple frame. Designed and illustrated scenes for marketing materials. Main tools: Adobe Photoshop.

Graphic Design Intern at Elsa L Inc, San Rafael, CA. Summer 2014.

Converted verbal and pictorial descriptions into graphical renditions of picture frames and photo albums for a home decoration and fashion company.  Helped with developing and implementing styles, fonts and layouts. Worked in a fast-paced and high-demand environment alongside accomplished designers and delivered on very tight (sometimes daily) deadlines.  Main tools: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
